Returns & Refunds.

1. 14-Day Right of Withdrawal (EU consumers)

If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, under articles 52 and following of the Italian Codice del Consumo (D.Lgs. 206/2005, implementing EU Directive 2011/83/EU) you have 14 calendar days from the day you receive the goods to withdraw from the purchase without giving any reason.

To exercise this right, send a clear written declaration to info@eskating.eu before the 14-day deadline. Include: your order number, the items you are returning, and the reason (optional). You may use the standard EU withdrawal form, but it is not mandatory.

After we acknowledge your request, you have another 14 days to send the goods back to us.

2. Condition of Returned Goods

  • Items must be intact, unused (other than the inspection necessary to establish nature and characteristics) and complete with all accessories.
  • Items must be returned in their original packaging or in equivalent safe packaging.
  • You are responsible for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning. Visibly used, mounted or assembled boards and batteries are not eligible for full refund.

3. Non-returnable items

The following items are excluded from the right of withdrawal under art. 59 D.Lgs. 206/2005:

  • Custom-built items — battery packs, motors, ESC configurations or any other product manufactured to your specific specifications or clearly personalised (e.g., custom voltage, custom cell layout, engraving).
  • Items mounted, assembled, configured or modified by the customer.
  • Sealed safety/electrical items unsealed after delivery where unsealing compromises safety (e.g., cells extracted from a sealed pack).

4. Return Shipping & Risk

For standard withdrawal returns, shipping costs are paid by the customer. You may choose any carrier, but we strongly recommend a tracked and insuredservice: until the parcel reaches us, the risk of loss or damage is yours.

Do not return goods without contacting us first. Unannounced returns may be refused or significantly delayed.

5. Refund Timing & Method

Once the goods are received and inspected (we verify they are intact and complete), we issue the refund without undue delay and in any case within 14 days of receiving the returned items, using the same payment method you used for the order (PayPal). No fees are charged for the refund.

We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or you supply evidence of having sent them, whichever is earliest.

Original outbound shipping cost is refunded only if you return the entire order. If you return only part of the order, the original shipping is kept. Optional shipping insurance and any extra-fast delivery surcharge are not refunded.

6. Warranty Returns (defective products)

If a product develops a manufacturing defect, you may return it under the warranty terms described in our Terms & Conditions (2 years EU / 1 year worldwide).

  1. Email info@eskating.euwith your order number, a description of the issue, photos and (when relevant) a short video showing the defect.
  2. We diagnose remotely. If we confirm a manufacturing defect, we authorise the return and provide instructions.
  3. You ship the product back. For confirmed warranty cases, we either reimburse the return shipping or arrange the return at our cost (case by case, based on country and defect severity).
  4. After inspection we repair, replace or refund — at our choice and in compliance with your statutory rights under the EU Consumer Sales Directive.

Warranty does not cover: wear and tear, crash, water damage, modifications, improper installation, perishable items (bearings, belts, pulleys, tubes, tyres, bushings, grip tape, wheels), or damage caused by VESC/Focbox/app settings exceeding our published safe limits.

7. Damaged or Lost in Transit

If you bought shipping insurance: in case of loss, theft or shipment damage, the order is refunded or re-shipped in full (product value only — original shipping cost is not refunded).

If you did not buy insurance: the shipping carrier is liable, not us. You may file a claim directly with the carrier. We are happy to provide any documentation you need.

Either way, contact us within 48 hours of delivery if the package shows visible damage or items are missing, and keep all packaging until the claim is resolved.
